Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is an American musician from Greece . He was a founder member of heavy metal band Motley Crue. Lee is the long-term drummer for Motley Cr e. He has also formed Methods of Mayhem, a metal rap group. He also has pursued solo musical projects. Lee is a PETA fan and an avid advocate for animal rights. In 2010, Lee wrote a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld, protesting the treatment of Tilikum the orca. Lee believed that the animal should be released, and he stated that SeaWorld could not be a good partner as Tilikum is their main source of sperm. Lee stated that he was shocked at SeaWorld's complicated and ill-conceived methods of procuring Tilikum Sperm. Lee said he was trying to avoid tragedies similar to trainers' deaths, which was due to the whales' inability be held captive.
