Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee in a manufacturing plant. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was considered to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered in the second grade at age five. She graduated with a high school diploma at Saegertown located in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. She was also a contestant for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. In Europe she spent a full year in Milano and Paris. Stone did, however, become frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She decided to keep her acting career going as an actress while she was in Europe. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film received diverse reactions.
