Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often referred to as Rihanna by the Barbadians is an artist and singer. Her biggest hits include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Still in her prime, Rihanna is now one of the music's top performers. She was born in Barbados and had a childhood filled to reggae. As she started to sing, she became an accomplished singer. Her discontent was caused by the chaos within her home and the constant disputes among her parents. Therefore, she decided to get involved in music. She formed a musical group as a teenager and was able to have perform with producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed by the teenager's talents. The producer asked her to make the move into New York in order to make a career of it as a singer which she gladly did. Rihanna released her debut album, and was an overnight sensation. The songs of Rihanna were top of the charts among teenagers who pushed her into the world of film. The young and gifted Rihanna has been viewed as a teenage idol and fashion icon. Rihanna uses her fame for the good of others and is actively involved in a variety of charitable causes.
